The animation clip NICHTS (NOTHING) was intentionally made for monochrome public LED-screens, placing it deliberately between comsumer advertising. The essential idea of NICHTS is the visual metamorphosis of simple icons, such as those used for orientation systems or index-signs. By melting the pictograms with each other an amorphous meta-sign with an continuously charging meaning develops. The form of a droplet and a mass of dispersing dots signal the beginning and end of the animated sequence respectively.
